At MMOD, Inc. ("Shov," "we," "us," or "our"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website and use our services.

Information you give us directly:

• Name and contact information (email address)
• Date of birth and sex (for age verification and account profile)
• Payment information processed by Stripe (we do not store full card numbers)
• In-app content you submit (handle, avatar, gameplay actions)

Information we collect automatically:

• IP address and approximate geographic location
• Browser and device type, operating system
• Usage data (pages visited, matches entered, session times)

• Operate and improve the platform, match-making, and gameplay features
• Process payments, shot purchases, and prize distributions
• Verify age and identity, and comply with anti-fraud and legal obligations
• Communicate transactional notices (login codes, receipts, support replies)
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues

We share information only with service providers needed to run Shov (Stripe for payments, Cloudflare for hosting, email delivery), with authorities when legally required, or with your explicit consent. We do not sell your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

We use first-party cookies necessary for authentication (the session cookie that keeps you signed in). We do not use third-party advertising trackers at this time.

We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterward as required by law (generally up to 7 years for financial records). You may request deletion at any time by emailing hi@shov.com.

• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Update inaccurate information.
• Deletion: Request removal of your account and associated data.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from non-transactional communications.

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS, cookie hardening, rate limiting, Stripe PCI) to protect your information. No system is fully secure; please use a unique email and contact us immediately if you suspect account compromise.

Shov is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice.
